UnClench Your Tushy: There’s Nothing to Fear Here, Peeps, Part One

What if you knew that there is nothing, and I mean nothing to fear here on good ol’ planet earth? Not disease, death, financial ruin, or other people’s expressions or actions. Seriously, what if you knew on such a core level that you are safe, secure, and protected? What if you could move through life with utter acceptance, confidence, and trust? You can. We all can.

laughing

Admittedly, these are audacious words. The concepts that I’ll present here will challenge your deep-seated beliefs about this planet and life upon it. I know. This post will strike some as outlandish, unthinkable or even dead-wrong. Regardless, it doesn’t change the fact that humanity is asking for a deeper awareness, a way out of the madness, the pestilence, the damage, and the hurt that we have caused ourselves, each other, and this planet. We are asking. and, the ideas here are a way for some of us to get clear.

To accept the premises of this post, you’ll be well-served by entertaining a “what-if” mindset. Just entertain the notion that this could be the truth for you and if there is something here of use to your expansion as a human being, your higher self, the soul part of you, will recognize it and receive what it needs. (Want some fun and cool daily reminders of this, visit Mike Dooley’s site and sign up for his Notes from the Universe.) Ready to begin? Okay. First off and it bears repeating:

There is nothing to fear here. And, I mean NOTHING. Yep, you read that right. There is nothing to fear on this planet. Everything is in its place and working out according to not only your elaborate plans (before you got here), your very wishes. It’s true. Stay with me.

For just a moment, loosen your butt-cheeks. Breath into the space where the tension was holding in your body and please feel these words as deeply as you can. You are not in danger of any kind no matter what the circumstances are and no matter how bad it looks to you or others. You are NOT IN DANGER, ever. In pain? Not in danger. Sick? Not in danger. Shitty boss? Not in danger. In jail? Not in danger. Horrible upbringing? Not in danger. Stolen from, lied to, beaten, abused, mistreated? No danger, no danger, no danger, no danger.

peace

How do I know that none of us are ever truly in danger? Thousands of years of various “truths” sprinkled throughout humanity’s esoteric scriptures, nestled into the world’s religions, and hidden in plain view among our collective art works, books, films, and writings. Take for example, the Buddha who said: “What you think, you become” or his “We are shaped by our thoughts”. Or, Jesus’ wonderful statement: “Ask and it is given” and his: “You, too can do these things and even greater than I have done.” We have markers of our true place and power plopped everywhere from the Holy Bible to the Talmud to the Tao Te Ching, to the Vedas, to the tattered and crumbling papyrus scrolls hidden deep in the caves of Egypt and Tibet (which predate all Western religions).

Mankind has been given “the path” in so many permutations and forms that it’s astounding to me that we still believe we are victims. We still act like petulant children who believe that other people or life’s circumstances have the power to truly hurt us. We still act like we have no control over our direct experiences, that we are victims of the economy, victims of the weather, victims of each other, victims of our own bodies. We are not victims. And, it no longer serves us to believe that we are.  Further, I’ll just go ahead and say it: The human race needs to grow the f*ck up and take responsibility. It’s time.

We come here to lovely earth for lessons. We come here for pain so that we can motivate ourselves to push deeper and to align with who we really are: vastly powerful spiritual beings who are here for the sole (soul) purpose of expanding our consciousness and learning our divinity. We come here to learn. This is a school. We agree to come here and take our lessons. No one forces us from our happy nest on the Other Side. We willingly reincarnate to take another crack at life, to learn, to expand, to grow, and to LOVE.

It takes all kinds of lives to “stick the landing”. It takes all kinds of “conditions” for us to remember that we come from love and will return to love and love is the only thing that matters, but we can’t get to this truth but through lots of lives of hating, destroying, hurting, and learning very tough, very painful lessons. It’s okay. Everything is FINE. It’s all perfect. All of it. Even the shitty stuff.

We are powerful creators in this time-space and we design elaborate plans for when we incarnate. We then incarnate and work the plans that we made and we work the agreements that we make with others until we return home, a hero. In every case. We all triumph in the earth-school and yes, even those of us who lie, steal, cheat, kill, abuse, or love. Oh, yeah.

I know. It really yanks your chain to think that there is no judgement from on high. No real repercussion and no “court of human law” in the skies to which we are sent when we are bad. But, in my belief system, there isn’t. There is only energy and a particular quality associated with an energy. There is only cause and effect. We emanate a frequency, be it from emotion or thought, and from the sphere of influence that is our body/mind/consciousness, like-energy returns to the source of its creation. Period. Bad energy, bad experiences. Good energy, good experiences. In-between energy, scattered experiences. We, however, draw all of it through our choices.

We create thoughts and the energy goes out into the universe, coalesces with like-frequencies, and returns in the form of experiences, exchanges with others, and yes, even car troubles or the weather. See Abraham-Hicks for more on this. All experiences in your life, all energy in your life, all circumstances in your life are drawn there by you for the purpose of learning.

Don’t believe it. That’s okay. It doesn’t change the fact one bit. You are the magnet that attracts what you ask to learn. You are the source of all experiences in your life. You then use your exchanges with others, by design, to get your lessons, whatever those look like. You draw from your environment what you most heavily concentrate on and what you imbue with the strongest emotion and thought (given your current state of awareness and consciousness). The question is do you like the energy in your life? Do you like the experiences that you are having? Have you learned what you came to learn? Do you want change?

Stay tuned for part II next week. Be well. Know your power and entertain the ideas presented here. Everything is going how we all agreed it should go and nothing can truly harm us. Promise. If I haven’t convinced you yet, maybe my next post will help. As always, feel free to share your thoughts, my darling friends. All my light and love to you, Lizzy

Merge with Me, Honey

merge

Now for some real fun. A few friends have asked me to write on this topic because they cannot believe the level and depth at which I feel things in my lovely body and when I tell them what happens for me in relationships sometimes, it takes their breath away (their words, not mine). So, I agreed to try and capture the essence of merging. Hence, this-here post.

One of the Novels that I’m Writing on “Merging”

As some of you know, I have been writing, like, five books for seven years (or is it seven books for five years? Hmmm…doesn’t matter). For convenience sake, let’s just say that I write a crap-load of material for all kinds of applications, audiences, and usages. One of the novels on which I have been working, for years, is on this topic of merging. The working title is Le Merge or to completely “Frenchify” it, Le Fondre. But, the title will likely change, because fondre is a transitive verb and I use it like a noun. Hmmm…maybe not. Maybe I’ll keep the title.

Anyway, this book describes in vivid detail how it feels to be in my body and merging energies with other things and people; yes, it is about how it feels inside of me, but explored by way of my two main characters who live in a fantastical futuristic society where there are ample laws about pair-bonding, unions, sexuality, behaviors, etc. Sound familiar? It should.

In this book’s culture, people are only allowed one merge per life so it’s a big one. It’s, in essence, one chance to get a relationship right. One’s “merge” presents him or herself through the course of one’s life and then you are supposed to get “married” and live out your days, happily. But, of course, there are loopholes and problems and issues because it’s humanoid people we are talking about here, and well, I needed a story to write.  ; )

The core theme of the book is that when we bond with others, there is so much more happening on a psychic and body level than what most of us are able to process or to even make conscious. This unseen, unexplored, and largely ignored level of what’s happening is where my experiences come in. And, what I experience when bonded with others is apparently really different than what most other people feel because when I tell people how it feels for me, they stare at me like I have a red horn in the center of my forehead. Or, a tail. Or, both.

What is Merging?

So, let’s get into some of it. Merge…mmm….what a great word. What an unassuming and sweet little word that on the surface seems so soft, so little and like it doesn’t have very much going on with it. But, I assure you that merge is a profound, life-changing, deeply sensing word. Merge is a word that contains a hefty strata of meaning and emotion below its small, still surface; it’s a universe inside of itself. And, well, doesn’t that just sound like a whole lotta people we know?

So, what do I mean by merge? Just what the word means: To unify with another. To take something into oneself and tease apart the meaning, to open it, lay it out flat for a quick look, or to bunch it into one’s hands and deeply inhale it, to pull it inside of you. To pull experience through yourself, to pull others through the self. To feel on the level of the cells, the molecules, the center of everything.

It’s incredibly delightful and so, so delicious. Merging is the single most sensual, engaging, and deep-feeling thing in which human beings can engage. But, we don’t even know that we do it. And, some people believe that it is wrong. I had a psychic once tell me that merging is totally inappropriate, but I disagree with her. Merging, between two consenting people is awesome and transformative. It is all kinds of right and so deeply pleasurable. Again, this happens by consent, not coercion. It’s an agreement made instantly between two or more people.

How Does Merging Feel?

So, how does it feel? When I turn my attention to someone or something, the whole freaking planet tilts a little and everything gapes open instantly. Colors get brighter. Everything sharpens and becomes more outlined, more “there”. Moments pass slower but at the same time, quicker. There, right there in the room, a gauzy light blossoms up and out, feelings bound into the space between us, and in a quick-snap, loosens our bodies. When I look into another person’s face, I am peering from them and they are peering back at me from me. It’s such an astonishing sensation. I can feel other people and things inside of my body, but I feel them as if I am inside of their body simultaneously. ARG! It’s so hard to capture this with such cloggy words, but that’s basically it. That’s merging. Okay, let me try to go deeper with it:

You and me. Standing only a couple of feet apart but space means nothing because you and I are one, one body, one entity, one staggeringly beautiful consciousness, one breath breathing the room together, breathing each other together. I feel you, sir, in my legs. Your presence, full and rich inside of me, pouring into my thighs, filling my trunk, inside the whole of me, the core of me, but also, beyond this body, our body. I can feel you looking in at me and out at the world. I can feel me looking in at you and out at the world. You are me. I am you. We are each.

Until I looked into your eyes, I knew not that I was missing anything, but there it is. You, my match. A piece that I was missing until now, a part of myself returned to me. And, when we touch each other, oh, God. The planet fades. We speed out of that moment and become light, bending into molecules and atoms and quarks and potential, becoming breath, undulating from the dense physical into the vastness of space, together and apart, co-mingled, merged, and still us, but at one with all of creation. Yep, that’s it. Merging.

It is RARE

Merging happens to me with only the right people, people who are a match with me energetically. It is immensely rare and precious. I have only had this happen a small number of times, but each time, it’s better than the last, it’s deeper than the last.  I most often merge with animals or nature. I can do this with planetary essences must easier than with people but when it happens with people, oh, it is so fun, so mystical, and wonderful.

What about you? Does this happen to you? What do you make of this phenom? Does anyone know what this is called or if there is an equivalent in the metaphysical realms?

Y R U SO FAT?

yrusofat

Do you remember Richard Simmons and his license plate that spelled out YRUSOFAT (or something similar to that)? I always crack up when I think of this. I always smile when I think of Simmons’ valiant efforts to help people tackle their weight issues. He was a pioneer in the field of weight loss, by way of exercise. He was flamboyant (still is), funny, and oh, so chipper. I appreciated his methodologies and his humor. But, the thing is: he and every other person out there, trying to help others change their bodies by way of exercise or dieting are going at it from a less-than-effective foundation.

I know. That’s a very bold statement. Lemme explain.

If lasting weight-loss was simply an issue of taking action–you know, as in, exercising, getting gastric by-pass surgery, or dieting–we would all be thin. But, we are not thin. And, when most of us lose weight, after a time, we see it come right back on and then some. For example, I once knew a lovely woman who weighed 280 pounds and got what I feel is an incredibly violent method of weight loss–gastric by-pass surgery–, lost 130 pounds in the first year and by year two, managed to whittle herself down to 110 pounds, only to see the weight and then some come back on in years three through five. She ended up at 340 pounds, without hope, and deeply, savagely depressed. My heart broke for her. It’s simply devastating to be that morbidly, dangerously obese and to have something like this happen. It’s awful to believe that something will work for you and then have to face such an incredibly visual, public failure.

The problem is not that we do not move enough, try hard enough, diet enough, or work enough. Lord knows that we do. Fat people work harder than anyone else at losing weight and trying, striving, killing themselves to be thinner. Hell, we “weight lift” just crossing a room. But, in my thinking, it’s not about taking action; it’s about something else. It’s about responsibility. The core problem is that a majority of people do not take utter and complete responsibility for their thoughts, emotions, emanations, and lives.

Now, before you lamb-baste me for saying this, just consider that it’s possible.

While you know that I don’t often focus on the negative, there are times where I need to dip into the inky-human-darkness in order to get to a solution. So, here’s the take-away: Many of us act like victims. We think like victims. We believe that we’re victims. We’re victims of genetics or our thighs or our big ears or our relationships. We believe that we have no control over what “God gave us”. For the most part, we believe that our bodies are out to get us and that we’re at the whims of nature, genetics, or our early upbringing. We continually look backwards and point to the ways that we were damaged or betrayed.

We blame the body for holding us back, embarrassing us, or keeping us apart from others. We refuse to take ownership of our thoughts and emotions. We uses statements like: “He makes me so mad” and “She makes me want to scream” instead of realizing that no one can make you do anything. That reaction inside of you is a choice. Those statements could, with some consciousness and awareness be replaced with “I feel so mad right now”. Or, When I talk with her, all kinds of emotions come up inside of me. I wonder what that’s all about?” These are examples of taking responsibility for our feelings.

For the most part, human beings refuse to accept that we manifest reality by way of our thoughts, our attention, our utterances, our feelings. We do not question what we were taught by parents, parents who, in a majority of cases, had very little mastery over what they were doing. We know this. Most of us came from childhood situations that were dysfunctional in key areas.

We’re largely taught to look outward for our answers. We are told “ask God,” “pray,” or, worse, “do as I say” (parents say this alot). We’re raised to constantly look outside of ourselves and to look to other people for clues about how we’re doing, instead of being taught to go inward, self-analyze, take an inventory of how we’re feeling, and to consider how our behaviors affect different situations and the results we receive. We’re largely taught that emotions are suspect, our thoughts are “just thoughts”.

And, this wide-spread human reluctance to question what we’re taught and analyze and accept our own answers is why we’re often in victim-mode and why we cannot affect a lasting, positive change with our bodies. This is not to say that working out isn’t a good idea; it just can’t replace or fix our core issues. This is not to say that fitness coaches and other people in the health industry are not doing a good job or helping people, they are. But, there are only so many results one can get from dominating the body with exercise and adhering to stringent food restrictions without addressing the emotional self in tandem.

What we need are deep, core-level changes. We need to penetrate our own psychology. We need to question what we were taught and abandon the ideas that don’t serve us now or at least analyze them and see if there is still a fit. We might do well to take ownership of our emotions and embrace them, not distance ourselves from them. We need to understand the physics involved with our being electromagnetic creators. We would be greatly served by understanding our role in creating physical matter by way of our thinking and embracing that we are not victims of any circumstance, ever.

No fitness coach in the world can truly help a person, who seeks to address bodily issues, without addressing the emotional person, the thinking person, the feeling person, the psychology of the person. Until we begin addressing the core reasons for our reactions and take responsibility for the quality of our lives, whether good or bad, we cannot supersede our station in life in a lasting manner.

The answer is to go inward. Think. Ponder our quality of life. Ask our body for answers. Talk with our higher power, if that’s our belief system. Meditate. Seek help at times, but ultimately know that the answers you seek lie within you and no construct of man, from religion to strength-training can give you the answers to questions that you are not willing to ask. This is an inside job. No one outside of you can do for you what you cannot (or refuse) to do for yourself. The answer lies in looking into the darkness of the psyche and holding your ground, asking yourself why you feel the way you do, what are you being asked to learn and getting as comfortable with the inner processes of your existence as you are with the outward.

When fitness coaches start encouraging this approach, we will make quantum leaps forward as a species and not just in the arena of body shape. Until that time, getting to a place of self-acceptance is the best that we can do. What are your thoughts? Am I out of my tree? Tell me what you think. ~All my love and light to you, BigLizzy

Three “Big-A$$” (heh, heh) Reasons to Share this Blog

bodies_dance3

Helllooooo, all of you fine, body-acceptin’ humans! It occurred to me that if we are going to start and maintain a “revolution” of the body-lovin’ variety, we need more peeps in the loop. We need to spread the message. I cannot do this alone. I need my body-adorin’ posse to show up. So, toward that end, I offer you the following, compelling reasons for sharing this blog.

Reason #1: You want to help others

It’s clear that you are compassionate. You are present. You care about your friends and family. You see others as beautiful no matter what they wear, weigh, say, or do. While that’s abundantly evident and a core part of your life, you know that many of your friends and family could benefit from a small shift in focus, a new way to view physicality, a slight change in how they think. You know that getting to a higher plateau, a deeper, more tranquil relationship with the body would truly help others and would positively impact many different areas of their lives. Nothing would delight you more than seeing your friends and loved-ones begin (or continue) the process of loving themselves as much as you love them.

  • Simply put: Helping others to accept themselves feels good. It feels good to love others and to see them prosper. It feels good to give others an avenue through deeper healing, deeper being. Let’s do this together. Let’s help other people. : )

Reason #2: Body-hating is contributing to many social ills and it’s time to fix it

Look around. All around us are massive-piles of evidence that point to mankind’s reluctance to accept and honor the body, its needs, its messages, its wants. This mass-decision (and delusion) is threatening humanity’s lasting happiness and I argue our continued survival. With everything from dense, antiquated, and unrealistic religious edicts about the body’s various sins, transgressions, and uncleanliness, to modern advertisements that beg women to hide their skin, smells, and bodily functions with chemical-laden, unhealthy, and frankly, dangerous products, it’s so clear that we have a serious problem here.

We, as a species, largely disapprove of or flat-out hate our bodies. For many people, this hatred permeates every aspect of life. It creates an adversarial basis to everything that we do. For, as we know, from within, comes the basis of all outer manifestation. If that inner terrain is rife with angst, anxiety, and disdain for our bodies and by proxy, others, how can we fully and happily live? How can we accept others? How can we truly be at peace?

If we are to evolve as a species and become creators and not victims, we simply must vanquish this pervasive body disdain, because it is the wellspring from which bubble many of our most vexing human problems, problems that range from mental and emotional to physical and behavioral. Some examples of the most damaging social ills include: child abuse, murder, self-destruction, drug abuse, damage to the earth, crime, and misuse of power (among many others); these problems are pointing to, at bottom, a mistrust of the body, either our own or others’. I’m not saying that body hatred is the root cause of these social ills, but in my estimation, it’s a key component of everything that is “wrong with humanity”.

If we do not accept the body, our full self, in all of its qualities, we cannot truly ever accept other people. We cannot walk softly on the earth or honor the earth-mother’s body. We cannot advance spiritually. We cannot love fully and deeply like we are designed to do. If we choose to neglect or hate our bodies, we cannot form lasting, peaceful relations with other cultures or life forms. In my humble opinion, this is the biggest threat to mankind’s survival.

  • Simply put: Hating the body is not okay. Subscribing to a religion or belief system that illustrates a shame or disdain about the natural processes of the body and teaches about the body’s supposed uncleanliness or depravity is to be questioned and if needed, quickly and thoroughly abandoned. This no longer serves us as a species. It’s time to take ownership of our beliefs and behaviors. It’s time to question our ideologies and ask why we believe what we are taught. It is time for free-thinking, people. Not life-damaging, body-desecrating dogma.

Reason #3: It’s time to embrace that we are powerful creators and can be the change that all of humanity needs

So many of us keep doing the same stuff over and over. We do the same routine, the same workout, the same Friday night get-together with the friends. We are routine-based organisms. We largely like predictability and sameness. However, sometimes the same old thing stops working.

I think humanity is caught smack-dab in the middle of one such crisis: the old is no longer working and we are faced with sheer, abject terror over what will replace the old ways of doing things. We realize that taking power over each other and our Earth-Mother is not yielding the satisfaction that it once did. We are feeling restless, bored, numb, depressed, and frustrated with ourselves and the powers that be. Many of us have a sense that there has to be more, there has to be something else out there, there has to be a reason for all of this stuff that keeps happening to us. This is good. It’s progress for us.

I choose to believe that mankind is going to get to a healthier place in all aspects of life and soon; I feel that that we are in the midst of a huge shift in consciousness. We are largely moving away from fanatical, damaging, and harmful behaviors to a deeper living, a deeper spirituality, a deeper awareness that includes honoring the body, Earth-Mother, and the even the unseen forces that so many of us sense (and which help shape our lives).

I can feel a building hunger in mankind to get better, to heal, to realize why we come back to this planet over and over. I can feel mankind one-by-one leaping into the unknown terrain inside and emerging victorious. We want answers. We want to know what things mean. We want to know that our lives stand for something. There has to be more than just acquiring possessions and wealth. There has to be more than watching endless episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Simply put: It’s time for mankind to embrace this shift in consciousness and abandon his  long-perpetrated rape-and-pillage paradigm in favor of a more peaceful, consciously aware, and responsible role. It’s time for us to push forward into our deepest healing and one way to do that is to question how we feel about our bodies and look for any opportunity to be aware of our thoughts and beliefs about the body because these absolutely color everything else in our lives. It’s time to celebrate the body in all of its manifestations. It’s time for us to reverse or at least stop the damage that we have done to our Earth-Mother. You can be a part of this effort. You, right there, reading this post, can begin to address this issue. You are a powerful being. You can affect change. We all can. It all starts inside.

So, all of this to say that I would LOVE it if you would help me spread the word about this blog and in the process help others. Together, we can help so many people change their inner world that will in turn help and change the outer world. Thank you for reading and being a part of the revolution. I appreciate each and every one of you.

Sweet Hint of Something Deep

Now, for a little fun…

The scene:

Out of my periphery, I see you standing there, in the aisle, waiting for me to shift my attention to you. You are just standing there, looking at me, sizing me up, thinking. Your body heightened and registering your interest; you, holding me with your eyes. I look up and smile at you. And, the others around us, moving through the room and talking, simply fade into the background; they evaporate. It’s just you and me, the two of us looking into each other. It’s just us and our instant-flash of understanding, a blossoming intrigue, a pulse that races through both of our bodies, crosses the room in golden, undulating light-waves, coalesces, and then enters each of us with a soft gasp. We both feel the sweet hint of something deep, smoky, and simmering.

What is this?

Have you ever looked at someone, maybe someone you are just getting to know, and this happens? There is a spark between you, a flash of something, a “light” that travels the distance between you both in a micro-second and reveals so much more than words could ever truly capture? Have you lifted the heft of this inside of yourself and pondered it? Isn’t it delectable and amazing? Have you tasted the sweet and syruppy moments between you and another person and felt how your body instantly rockets open, how the surface of your skin suddenly pulses like a flower caught in a shaft of morning sun? >>>Shivers of delight<<<

Personally, I LOVE when this happens. To me, it’s one of the most interesting phenomenon that occurs between people and it’s rare and precious. I love the energy exchanges between people, especially people who are interested in each other and not just in a primal, sexual way (but, let’s face it, that’s fun, too!). So, what is that flash of understanding between two people, the beat of something full and ripe that causes the body to gape open and flush slightly, pull forward and hang there, waiting for more? What is this phenom?

In a word, consciousness. We are electromagnetic beings.  We emanate energy constantly and that energy is propelled by thoughts. Thoughts are the building blocks of the known universe. Thoughts create the matter around us, from our clothes to our houses and all of the physical elements in our lives. Physicists know this. They have proven it. Thought is the foundation of all experience here in the earth plane. And, as such, nothing is truly ever hidden regardless of how carefully we try to groom our expressions. Nothing is hidden from view. It’s all open and out there for the world to see and feel. And, the world does see it and feel it.

Your body is the perfect vehicle for this creation and exploration, this heat and energy, this exchange with others. Consciousness is everything. The body is everything. The body gives us all that we need to come in, form thoughts, have experiences, and do the work that we all agree to do with each other. The body is the tool. It’s the perfect method for penetrating emotion, expression, connection, and creation.

So, given that the body is the perfect vehicle for expansion as a consciousness and the perfect way to create matter-generating thoughts, why are we, in general, so hateful to, and adversarial with, our bodies? Why don’t more people question their beliefs about the body and drill down on self deprecation and low self-esteem? Why don’t more people think of these things and question their thoughts and beliefs about the body and themselves?

I do not know the answer to these questions, but I do know that I love every blessed second of being in this healthy, fine body of mine and feeling the sacred energy exchanges with others. I love looking into another person’s face and feeling them and my reactions to them inside of my body. So much is going on! A world of things are happening inside of us, if only we would stop and ponder the miracle of this life and this ability of ours. We are privy to a never-ending, beautiful dance of thought, emotion, and energy. And, I for one, am not going to squander one second of it.
